Obsession
My roommates and I watch a pretty significant amount of TV. Certain shows are watched religiouisly. My current favorite show and obsession is Top Chef
Top Chef is on every Wednesday night on Bravo. The hosts of the show even have their own blogs which I have recently started reading http://www.bravotv.com/Top_Chef/season/5/blogs/index.php

Past Vegas Trips!!
The last two times I went to Las Vegas I had SO much fun and I have a feeling my upcoming trip will not be any different! These two pictures below were taken about a year ago when I went with my company on a quarterly STARS trip. I had a blast and laughed a lot with Katie (especially when I sat on her husbands lap on his scooter) and I met Ja Rule at 9 Steakhouse at The Palms! I am hoping for some celeb sitings this trip :) 
These pictures were taken on my first LEGAL trip to Las Vegas with 13 of my best girlfriends from home. We like to have reunions about once a year, so once all of us were 21 (October of our senior year in college) a trip to Vegas was in order. On this trip we saw Paris Hilton and Nick Canon at Tao - again hoping for more celeb sitings... I hope to make it back to vegas with these girls sometime soon!

My roommate received an email from her boyfriend last night containing a pretty comical forward. I agree with it for the most part but let me know what you think :)

NICKNAMES
*If Laura, Kate and Sarah go out for lunch, they will call each other Laura, Kate and Sarah.
*If Mike, Dave and John go out, they will affectionately refer to each other as Fat Boy, Godzilla and Four-eyes.
EATING OUT
*When the bill arrives, Mike, Dave and John will each throw in $20, even though it's only for $32.50. None of them will have anything smaller and none will actually admit they want change back.
*When the girls get their bill, out come the pocket calculators.
MONEY
*A man will pay $2 for a $1 item he needs.
*A woman will pay $1 for a $2 item that she doesn't need but it's on sale.
BATHROOMS
*A man has six items in his bathroom: toothbrush and toothpaste, shaving cream, razor, a bar of soap, and a towel .
*The average number of items in the typical woman's bathroom is 337. A man would not be able to identify more than 20 of these items.
ARGUMENTS
*A woman has the last word in any argument.

My Happy Places
My two favorite rooms in my apartment would have to be the kitchen and my closet :)
Those of you who know me well know that I love cooking, but even more than cooking, I love doing the dishes. In the middle of December my roommates and I had about 15 girls over for a holiday dinner and some cookie decorating. I loved having everyone over and can't wait to do it again soon!

My Blog Inspiration
It has taken me a while to get this blog going and I have decided it is finally time. There are a few different reasons why I decided to blog and a few different groups of people who really inspired me to do so.....
Katie & Sarah - these two fabulous ladies were the ones who initially inspired me to start blogging. They both have fantastic blogs and I can only hope mine will one day be as fun as theirs! Oh and we are going to Las Vegas in 10 days so stay tuned for many vegas blogs to come!
The Lugs - These lovely and sometimes classy ladies are my best friends from college. No matter how often we see each other it's like it was just yesterday. I miss them so much and love reminiscing about college and monday nights whenever possible :)
The L-town girls - Last but definitely not least, these girls have been my best friends since before I can remember. We have such an amazing bond and still have a solid group of 13+ girls who see each other whenever possible. From our yearly trips to dinners at home, to crazy nights at the Charro/Roundup/Joes/Petars I love you girls and I miss you whenever we aren't together.
Anyway.... Stay tuned.... there are many fun blogs to come!
